Free vs Pro
Manual folders are free and unlimited. Pro adds everything built on the content scan — automatic folders, usage answers, duplicate detection and the importers.
On this page
MediaFlow has two tiers. The split is not “a few folders free, more if you pay”: folders are free and unlimited, and Pro adds the features built on reading your content.

Why the line is drawn there
The free tier is deliberately a complete folder plugin. Anything less would make it worse than the folder plugins that cost nothing, which would defeat the point of having a free tier at all.
Everything on the Pro side runs on the usage resolver — the part that reads pages, posts, products, Elementor documents, ACF fields, other page builders and theme options to work out what uses each file. That is the piece with a permanent maintenance cost: builders change how they store things, and a resolver nobody funds quietly starts giving wrong answers.
What happens if a licence lapses
You keep every folder and can still edit them — folders are free, and that does not change when a licence ends. The Pro features stop. Nothing is deleted.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on folders in the free tier?
No. Create as many folders and subfolders as you want.
Do I need a licence to try MediaFlow?
No. Install it and start making folders. The first-run scan will also tell you what MediaFlow can see in your content before you decide anything — it changes nothing while it does.
Does the free tier show where a file is used?
No. That is the Used on feature, and it is Pro.
Can I keep using the free tier forever?
Yes. What you do not get without a licence is plugin updates through WordPress, and the Pro features.
Where do I upgrade?
The Upgrade links in the plugin point at the MediaFlow pricing table. They
are filterable through mediaflow_license_purchase_url if your site needs a
different destination.
