What this does

You define a formula that references other fields (for example, quantity × price). As the visitor changes those fields, the calculation updates instantly — turning your form into a live estimator or quote builder.

Why it exists: many forms need math (pricing, totals, scoring). The Calculation Field does it without any coding.

Typical use cases

  • Instant price/quote calculators.
  • Order totals (quantity × unit price).
  • Scoring in quizzes or assessments.

How to use it

  1. Enable Calculation Field on FormFlow → Features (Conditional Logics group).
  2. In Elementor, add a field and set its type to Calculation.
  3. Build the formula referencing your other fields (e.g. a Range Slider and a Currency field).
  4. Configure how the result displays (label, formatting).
  5. Preview and change the inputs to confirm the total updates.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Reference the right fields. Use numeric fields (Range Slider, Currency, number) as inputs.

  • Show the result clearly with a label like “Estimated total”.

  • Format money nicely — pair with the Currency field for clean amounts.

  • Test edge cases (zero, maximum values) so the total always makes sense.

  • Keep formulas readable so they’re easy to update later.
