What this does

Every send attempt is written to a log so you can confirm emails are going out and troubleshoot when they aren’t. Each entry shows:

Column Meaning
Date When the attempt happened
Template Which email it was
Recipient Where it was sent
Subject The rendered subject line
Trigger What caused it (an event, scheduled, or test)
Status Sent, Failed, or Skipped

Hover a Failed or Skipped row to see the reason.

How to use it

  1. SubscriptionFlow → Email Center → Logs.
  2. Use the filters to narrow the list:
    • Status — Sent / Failed / Skipped
    • Template — a specific email
    • Recipient — search by email address
  3. Click Filter (or Reset to clear).
  4. Page through results with Previous / Next.

Understanding the statuses

  • Sent — handed to WordPress/your mail system successfully. (Delivery to the inbox still depends on your mail setup — see Tips.)
  • Failed — the mail function returned an error. Usually a site email/SMTP problem.
  • Skipped — nothing to send: e.g. no valid recipient (a deleted user, or a license with no owner email).

Tips & Best Practices

  • Check the log right after enabling a new email to confirm it fires.

  • Lots of “Failed”? Your site can’t send mail reliably — install an SMTP plugin and configure a real sending address.

  • “Skipped” on customer emails usually means the record has no email on file — check the customer/order.

  • Filter by template to audit a single campaign (e.g. all 7‑day reminders).

Frequently Asked Questions

Does “Sent” guarantee delivery?

No — it means the email was accepted by your server’s mail system. Spam filters and mail configuration still affect inbox delivery. Use SMTP for reliability.

How far back does the log go?

It keeps recent activity (most recent first). Older entries roll off over time.

Can I resend from the log?

Not directly — re‑send a test from the template editor, or the email will send again the next time its event/schedule occurs.

Why do I see test in the Trigger column?

Those are Send test emails you triggered from the editor.
