License Status & Allowed Sites
After activation, the License page shows your license status and how many sites it covers. What those values mean, and how to manage your sites.

What this does
The License page reports the health of your SubscriptionFlow Pro license — whether it’s active, when it renews or expires, and how many of your allowed sites are in use. It’s how you confirm your store is entitled to Pro features.
Understanding the status
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Active | Your license is valid; Pro features are unlocked. |
| Free | No active license; the site runs on Starter (Free). |
| Grace | The license recently lapsed but still works for a short window while you renew. |
| Expired | The license has ended; Pro features are locked until you renew. |
The page also shows details like your plan, renewal/expiry date, and when the license was last checked.
Allowed sites
Every license can be activated on a set number of websites — its allowed sites. The License page shows how many you’ve used (for example, “1 of 3 used”, or “Unlimited”).
- Activating on a site uses one slot.
- Deactivating on a site frees the slot so you can use it elsewhere.
Moving your license to another site
- On the site you’re leaving, go to SubscriptionFlow → License and click Deactivate.
- On the new site, enter your key and email and click Activate.
This keeps you within your allowed‑sites limit.
Tips & Best Practices
-
Deactivate before you migrate. Changing domains or hosts without deactivating can use up a slot on a site you no longer control.
-
Track where you’ve activated. If you manage many sites, keep a simple list so you know which slots are in use.
-
Renew before expiry to avoid the grace‑then‑expired transition and keep Pro features on continuously.
-
Choose the right plan for your needs. If you regularly hit the allowed‑sites limit, a higher tier may be more convenient.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many sites can I use my license on?
It depends on your license’s allowed‑sites limit, shown on the License page (some plans are unlimited).
How do I move my license to a new domain?
Deactivate on the old site, then activate on the new one — this frees and reuses a slot.
What’s the difference between Grace and Expired?
Grace means the license recently lapsed but still works briefly. Expired means it has fully ended and Pro features are locked until renewal.
I hit my site limit — what now?
Deactivate an unused site to free a slot, or upgrade to a plan with more allowed sites.
Does deactivating delete my data?
No. Deactivating only releases the site slot and locks Pro features on that site; your subscriptions, licenses, and settings remain.
Why does it say “last checked”?
SubscriptionFlow periodically re‑verifies your license with the server so the status stays current.
